You QUIT you lose

You Quit ... you lose ...

Julian Smith - Saturday, November 26, 2011

Why is it when it gets tough in life ... people quit?  They give up.  They throw in the towel.  Does this sound familiar?  Is this ringing the door bell in your life?

People starting businesses do this all the time.  That's why over 80% fail in the first two years!  People starting a weight loss / fitness program also do this a lot too.

What are we creating here by quitting all the time?  Is a pattern developed?  A reference point locked into our subconscious?  Isnt this interesting ...

Do you see where I am heading with this.  You must understand that life is tough and very difficult at times.  We all suffer setbacks, dramas and problems.  This is LIFE!

Starting the Workplace Health Challenge will be tough in some areas also.  You'll be fighting 'old demons', cravings, addictions, peer group pressure, body image issues and more.

Starting a business is also tough.  If you quit when the going gets tough then all you are doing is creating a 'reference point'.  The more times you quit ... the stronger your reference point.  Does this make sense?  Once you understand this concept you will move through all barriers in life.  That weight loss plan will succeed.  That business will flourish.  That relationship will build.

Stop Quitting ...

You must continue the mission regardless of the obstacles thrown at you.  You might have a 'bad eating' day.  You might not budge on the scales one or two weeks.  You might miss a meal or two or even forget to drink 12 glasses of water each day.  You might sleep in one or two mornings and miss the training session.

BIG DEAL.  Forget it and move on.

To succeed you must learn how to deal and respond to failures and setbacks.  Building a strong business and even a great career will result in making many costly mistakes.  Errors in judgements.  Hiring the wrong staff.  Losing sight of the end game.  Changing focus.  The same is said for your WHC journey.  It's tough at times so get used to it.  Prepare for obstacles.  Prepare for setups and failures.

Continue the mission and never, never, never, never, never QUIT ...
